About the project
Grower Cosmetics — is a local brand of eco-cosmetics based on hemp with production in St. Petersburg. Natural components and small production volumes allow achieving the best quality and maintaining an ecological approach throughout the process. The key values of the brand — hempYan oils, environmental friendliness and care.

Branding
The branding was done in a minimalist style in terms of technique and number of techniques — logo, fonts, eco-packaging materials, working with images. For packaging, it is not artificial graphics that are important, but the tactility and beauty of the product itself. The principles were recorded in the brand book.
The project has been rated by the target audience (average rating on Ozon 4.9/5)
The product stands out from its competitors due to its minimalist and “craft” design

Packaging design
I decided to use the maximum amount of material and composition: font + material + grid. No graphics are used. I designed all the packaging, except for the glass container, from scratch and taking into account business requirements and restrictions. Boxes for oils, gift tube, labels for all types of products.
Packaging can be printed in small batches. At the launch of the — project, print runs of up to 50 pcs.
As the project developed, the packaging could be scaled up to accommodate new production and increased print runs with minimal costs.

Website
Express-Webflow layout allowed us to design and launch the site within a week. The main page, section on cooperation, contacts were assembled. I set up communication forms.
I assumed that there would be more traffic from mobile phones — the emphasis was on ease of readability in the mobile version.
The site regularly receives requests for cooperation from large chains (Golden Apple, L'Etoile), small stores and bloggers
Without investments in development and advertising of the site, it stably generates traffic
Layout on Webflow allows you to quickly make adjustments to the design and structure of the site, saving money on development
The client can change the content independently

Online-shop
I used the Ecwid tool, set up the store and attached it to the main site. In Ecwid, I set up the admin panel, helped the client with registering online cash registers, delivery services and other related services. The design of the online store was manually configured in the code.
The quick launch of a working store allowed us to quickly reach our target audience and start sales
The project was completed on a turnkey basis for the client, there was no need to involve additional development or marketing specialists.
Integrating the store into the website will create the impression of a common ecosystem and enhance brand perception

Working with manufacturers
Selected a team of manufacturers for all types of packaging branding: labels, paper, silkscreen printing and digital printing.

Brand promotion and PR
I put together a presentation of the packaging and applied to the most promising design competitions. The project was noted at Red Dot, ADCR, ADCE, Sreda. I wrote several publications about the project and design on specialized resources.
Information about the project was published in the Red Dot catalogue and in the Chinese publication on packaging design “Wrap It Up”.
